Launched in September 2023, the Global South Scholar Program’s curriculum focuses on introducing students from underserved communities to novel ideas outside the realm of traditional classroom learning, seeking to build a more nuanced engagement between students and the world around them. By familiarizing them with topics such as visual literacy, human-environment relationships, and ethics in AI, the curriculum sets to promote interdisciplinary learnings through application based approaches and vivid examples.
